a few months ago Piero Footwear ask me to recommended a photographer who able to take an images of basketball, i feel challenged and then i replied "i can do it .."

for several weeks I learned about basketball players who will be my model for this shoot.

and of course looking for some references about the lighting.

at the shooting day i feel nervous, about 10 years i did not follow basketball match in Indonesia, only one face that I knew because when I'm in Highschool i like to watching a basketball game, and the rest of them were new faces.

while taking photos, I talked to them about basketball in Indonesia now, which was already highly developed... Bravo basketball Indonesia...

This photoshoot i made for Piero footwear last year to introduce their brand ambassador NIDJI.

Nidji is a band from Jakarta, Indonesia. Formed in 2002, Nidji's name comes from the Japanese word niji, meaning 'rainbow'. Their music can be classified under alternative pop genre, and the band has cited Coldplay and The Killers as major influences.. The band consists of Giring (vocalist), Andro (bassist), Run-D (keyboardist), Rama (guitarist), Ariel (guitarist), and Adri (drummer).

GETAH was formed in 1996, in Jakarta, Indonesia, over the ashes of Commotion Resources and Java Burn. Getah is one of the pioneers in the Indonesian crossover metal/goth/alternative rock scene. After several line-up changes and few demos, the band managed to score a major label records deal with Warner Music Indonesia. The self-titled debut album was recorded in Jakarta and mixed + mastered in San Francisco, USA. It was released in 1997 with lack of proper promotional efforts from the label. Simply put, GETAH at the time was an underground band on a major label with underground/indie treatment.

Last weekend me and my friends come to kuala lumpur to disitribusion our skateboard videos. We spent the night at my friend's brother apt who has a profession as a dj. that night we were invited to the club where he was a residence DJ there. and i was amazed and like his music.

Bumsquad Malaysia representative, Dj Cza is no stranger to the Malaysian Music Industry. A celebrity in his own right, Cza brings a touch of International class to any project he is associated with. Both Passionate and determined Cza now has his sights on achieving greater international acclaim.

Amongst the many accolades Cza has received for his participantion in both local and international competitions and took the number one spot for DMC Malaysia 2008. Cza joined his present group Ahlifiqir and helped in the production of their critically acclaim album, ‘Hari Ini Dalam Sejarah’. one o'clock in the morning, we headed to na thrang (by using sleeping bus) trip mui ne - na thrang takes approximately 6 hours. we arrive in na thrang at 7 o'clock in the morning.

we decided to breakfast before planning where to go. after debating and reading our lonely planet book, so we decided to walk to our hotel. we walking about 30 minutes but the hotel did not seem too. legs were already tired and we decided to take a cab, and guess what....?? we need an hour to get there and lot of money to pay the taxi.

we stay at Paradise resort, a small resort about an hour north of Na Trang at quite literally the end of the road,

we met with cherie the owner of the inn, an old man with medium height and nationality czech.

Paradise is a great place because there is nothing to do, NOTHING. There is internet there, but it seldom works. The resort was never crowded while I was there. and we are the second group of indonesian people who spend there.

We only stayed one night there but the experience of staying there is not easily forgotten

Ho chi Minh city - Mui ne beach (6 hour) by sleeping bus

up in the morning, with a hurry packing. We ran toward the bus stop to go to mui ne, a beach on the east of Saigon, a distance of approximately 200 km. by paying 10 us dollars we sit on the bus sleeping, the bus is unique because it consists of two levels on the inside, which meant the level of chair parts that story. the bus had stopped at the lodge that I use to eat breakfast. at one bus arrives at a cafe in mui ne.
mui ne area looks like carita beach in Indonesia with an atmosphere like in bali sanur. we were met by a tour guide that offers lodging and will plan our vacation. after a long debate we decided to stay a few hours in mui ne and will continue the journey toward na thrang beach early in the morning.
one day in mui ne, we decide to tour around mui ne.
the first places we visited was the fairy stream that is a place where the river water flowed, we thought the water is deep but not.

after that we visited a fishing village and to the white sand dune at the Bau trang. a place like the desert in Africa which is one of tourist objects in mui ne.

we eat seafood again, this time we tried to try vietnam restaurant, and one of the friends joined local people cooking together.

Jakarta - Ho chi minh city

January is the month that I wait, because the ticket i was purchased from the month of August will be used as well. departed from Soekarno-Hatta Airport with the heart pounding with the passport validity period is low. finally arrived safely in Ho Chi Minh City with no constraints on immigration. The first day was spent in Saigon, we stayed in district 1 Bi Saigon Hotel. where we stayed was a backpackers area. after checking in we went out to find food. because this is the first time me and my friends to vietnam we confused choosing foods. ultimately the choice fell on seafood. various kinds of shellfish, squid and snails were booked. hmmm ...., taste delicious after dinner we went back to the hotel to rest for a long run tomorrow,
